Vision

Leah Suma is the Founder of AllWoman4Betteh a grassroots movement 

dedicated to advancing women's rights in Sierra Leone and across sub-Saharan Africa. Founded in 2023. All Women 4 Betteh advocates for environmental and economic justice for women. Our programs foster environmental awareness and economic empowerment for women. The organisation seeks to mobilise resources to empower marginalised women to deal with the economic impacts of environmental degradation.

Spent the last 15 years working in communities across Sierra Leone.  Partnered with local and international not-for-profit organisations. Delivered entrepreneurship and functional adult literacy training to over 3,000 women and youths, as well as solar PV training to over 600 youths in rural communities across Sierra Leone.  

 In 2016, I proudly co-founded FLSPower, an innovative Energy Service Company designed to harness the growing potential of renewable energy in the Mano River Union sub-region. Since our inception, we have successfully implemented over 1 MW of stand-alone solar renewable energy projects and established three mini-grids that currently benefit over 600 households in Sierra Leone.

 Furthermore, in the UK, I co-found LetPower Global to provide exceptional energy solutions that truly make a difference. Together, we are driving the transition to sustainable energy and empowering communities.
