Bringing a Fresh Vision and Energy

My desire to participate in politics in Sierra Leone as the Organising Secretary of the All People's Congress (APC) is rooted in a combination of personal commitment, political vision, and a desire to effect meaningful change. 

 

With my background in computing, business, and sustainability, I bring a unique set of skills to the table, including strategic planning, a data-driven approach, and social justice thinking, all of which are urgently needed in our country's political landscape. 


In 2026, during the party's national convention, I will put myself forward for the position of Organising Secretary. As Organising Secretary for the All People's Congress (APC), my role would be pivotal in mobilising grassroots support, strengthening internal structures, and ensuring that the party remains responsive and effective in addressing the country’s most pressing needs, while also being prepared for governance.


 The APC has a long and important history, but it must also continue to evolve. I want to help modernise our organising strategies, strengthen engagement with women and youth, and build a more inclusive and participatory political culture .  

Championing Inclusive Leadership and Representation

Politics must reflect the people it serves. I am especially passionate about ensuring that women, young people, and marginalised communities are fully represented not just symbolically, but structurally within our party and our national policies.   

Strengthening Party Unity and Mobilisation

 Effective political change requires coordination, trust, and mobilisation. I want to serve as a bridge-builder connecting regions, coordinating action, and ensuring that the APC is well prepared, united, and responsive to the voices of all Sierra Leoneans. 

  For me, leadership is about service. I want my contribution to politics to be defined by integrity, transparency, and measurable impact  not just rhetoric. The role of Organisingg Secretary offers a chance to embed accountability and discipline into our party's daily operations.

I am standing for the position of Organizing Secretary because I believe that the future of our great party, and indeed our country depends on our ability to rebuild trust, energise our base, and organise with discipline, purpose, and inclusion.  I am not here to chase titles. I am here to serve, to mobilise, and to help the APC regain its rightful place as the party of the people, by the people, and for the people

 As Organizing Secretary, I will work to:

1. Rebuild Our Grassroots Structures

  • Establish vibrant, functional branches in every district and ward.
  • Strengthen local and regional mobilisation teams with training, digital tools, and logistical support.
     

2. Ensure Women and Youth Are Fully Represented

  • Support the creation of women- and youth-led organising cells.
  • Promote internal leadership development that reflects true gender equity and intergenerational inclusion.
     

3. Modernise Our Party Infrastructure

  • Digitise member registration and party communications to make the APC more transparent and responsive.
  • Use data-driven planning to improve our campaign strategies, especially ahead of elections.
     

4. Promote Party Unity and Discipline

  • Foster a culture of mutual respect, shared goals, and accountability.
  • Mediate internal disputes constructively, with fairness with a focus on the long-term strength of the party.

 With a background in computing and business, and further studies in environmental and sustainability issues, I understand both the power of systems and the importance of justice. My career has taught me how to think strategically, work collaboratively, and fight for those whose voices are often left out of decision-making.
